First, let me say you have no idea how encouraging you are for so many people.  Your voice alone helps to soothe the hurting heart...what a wonderful gift to be blessed with.  I often hear you talk about purpose...well let me tell you, I have a  serious passion for gardening and landscape design.  I was born here in Chicago, on the best side(the Westside), but raised by a Southern mother who taught me how cook and work in a garden when I was a young girl. It's something about planting seeds and putting flowers in the ground and watching them bloom. That really brings a since of mothering to my soul. here is my concern.  

 For such a long time I've wanted to have my own landscape design business, I just have no idea how to get started.  I've kind of written a rough draft of things I'll need, but have no idea what to do next. I kind of have a take charge attitude, but no degree, no resources,  finances, and when it comes to getting things up and running, I need help. Please help me.

Hello Zelda, I caught one of the shows when you were filling in for Sandra Robinson. You spoke on purpose. I have long before for that thought about what is my purpose. I have always known my purpose is to serve God in all I do. But I have longed to know my purpose as far as careers. As I listened to the calls pour in. One thing lead, to this, this lead to that and somehow the show turned into what would make you life more fulfilling/ purposeful. I started to think about my dreams and what would be more rewarding to me in the work force. I have always wanted to start my own business as far back as I can remember. At that time it was a boutique specializing in clothing for women (women blessed with a small waist and abundant hip and bottoms). As I grew over the years many ideas came and went. But I still knew I wanted to own my own business.

Then you read the Forward to your book. As I  listened to the “Forward” of your book (sorry I don’t remember the name please give me the name I would love to purchase a copy) I began to cry as I say myself , my story in your words. I was held captive because not only are those the words I’ve heard they are still the words I hear. . Zelda I am 35 year old single mother or three hansom young men.  I have be verbally abused by many and although I believe in myself a little part of me always wonders if they were right. Zelda, I work because I have to but the stress that I’m under when I call in because one of them gets sick is becoming unbearable. Not to mention that I ‘m not to thrilled about being there anyway. And if you are a mother you know that sickness does not hit them all at one time.  I need to be flexible and still earn enough to support my family in the process.

I’ve always had the vision of where I should be. I even see me there I just don’t know how to get there.  I have the faith but lack the confidence and the finances. I have been in deep prayer on and off. I have asked God to help me and know that the financial struggle that I am going through are there to guide me back to “His will” and keep me focused on my goal.

The reason I am writing is because God has lead me to you. Yes you!  He has pointed me to were I can get an abundance of resources and knowledge of how to work from home and earn money. I am very interested in import and export. I know it is God that is leading me because all the programs that I have listened to whether it’s on 1390 or where ever, all are pertaining to what I have prayed for.

 I have listened to you on the radio for quite some time now. I finally

took the time to email you. I need some one to give me some 

advice on Starting a girls mentor group from ages 9-17. I have a 

plan but I just don't know how to actually get it started. God has 

been given me a variety of ideas. I have all kinds of paper work for 

this but I need a place to meet. This girls club sounds alot like your womens empowerment

group. I am very interested in meeting with you if possible. For advice

on how and what I need to do to get this really started. I don't want to

vision for a business. I believe that I can do and all  things and all things 
are possible through Christ Jesus, that all things  work together for those who 
love the Lord, and that what God has for me is  for me, However I don't know 
where to start. The Vision is to open a  Banquet hall/Restaurant /Christian 
Fellowship Club, All in one. I've gone to the  Library to get info as to how to
