HOMELESSNESS

MATTERS

Zelda and Tony provide another generator for homeless residents living in Tent City near downtown Chicago.

When the weather drops below freezing tent dwellers run the risk of freezing to death.  If you would like to help provide generators and other help for the homeless you can send via PayPal.com to:

Outreach to the Homeless

The Higher Learning Network has Special Love for the Poor and Homeless among us.

On February 18, 2019, Douglas Robinson, the younger brother of Zelda Robinson was shot and killed in the homeless encampment near downtown Chicago known as Tent City.  Doug was highly respected in Tent City and helped many of the residents get jobs and other means of help.  Zelda loved her brother and was also well known in the area.  His tragic murder inspired Zelda to produce a video about her brother's life in attempts to shone light on the struggles of the homeless in Chicago.  Chicago Tribune Article.  Lost to Gun Violence Memorial.

We all need to do OUR  part to care for those less fortunate.

Dr. Willie Wilson is a leading advocate for the less fortunate in society including the homeless.
